Detective Scotty Valens

Detective Scotty Valens. I'm a homicide detective with the Philadelphia Police Department. I currently work cold jobs with his partner Detective Lilly Rush because as she says, no one should be forgotten. I was engaged to my childhood sweetheart but things fell apart, and she later died. They tell me she committed suicide, but her note only talked about the happy things. I think she was killed and I'll keep a cold case box open on her until I find out who did it. I'm Puerto Rican and Cuban, I got brothers and sisters but I'm closest to my brother Mike.

I got a theory about marriage. That it might not be on the cards for me. Most cops are lone wolves. Would I like that to be different? Well yeah, but I'm a realist.

Though might be making a career change soon.
